Get kotakwin on your device
We provide three installation paths depending on your device and operating system: Android APK download, iOS web-app, and desktop web browser. Each route leads to the same kotakwin account and balance; you can switch between devices by logging in with your email and password.
Installation steps
- Download the APK (Android) or open Safari/Chrome (iOS/desktop): Visit our download page, tap the button for your device, and save the file to your phone or tablet.
- Install and open the app: On Android, go to Settings → Security, enable Unknown Sources, then open the downloaded APK file; on iOS, add our web-app to your home screen via the Share menu; on desktop, simply navigate to kotakwin.id in your browser.
- Register or log in: Create a new kotakwin account with your email, username, password, and mobile number, or sign in if you already have an account with us.
- Complete identity verification and deposit: Upload a photo of your ID or passport, select a payment method (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank transfer), and fund your account to start playing.
App versus browser: key differences
Our kotakwin mobile app offers several advantages over the browser version. The app stores game data locally, so you can view your account history and game lists even without an active internet connection; the browser version requires a live connection. Push notifications on the app alert you to upcoming Liga 1 matches, live-dealer studio openings, cashback credits, and referral bonuses, whereas the browser version relies on email. The app also prioritises touch-optimised buttons and gestures, making navigation faster on small screens, whereas the browser adapts to any screen size but may feel less responsive on phones. Load times are typically faster on the app due to caching; the browser must fetch fresh data each session. Both versions use the same encryption and security standards, so account safety is identical.
Device compatibility and requirements
Our kotakwin app works on Android 7.0 and above (covering most phones made after 2016) and iOS 12 and above (iPhone 5S and later, iPad 4 and later). If your device runs an older version, the app may not install or may run slowly. Desktop access requires a modern browser (Chrome 90+, Safari 14+, Firefox 88+, or Edge 90+) and works on Windows 7 and above, macOS rules and above, and any Linux distribution with a compatible browser. Most modern smartphones from Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, and Semarang meet these requirements; if you encounter installation issues, check your device's Android or iOS version in Settings and update if needed.
Common installation issues and fixes
On Android, if installation fails with an "Unknown Sources" error, open Settings → Apps & Notifications → Special app access → Install unknown apps, select your browser or file manager, and toggle the permission on. If the APK file appears corrupted, delete it and re-download from our official page. On iOS, if the web-app does not appear on your home screen, open kotakwin.id in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen, and confirm. Certificate trust warnings (rare) mean your device does not recognise our security certificate; tap "Details" and "Visit this Website" to proceed. On desktop, if the site loads slowly, clear your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows/Linux, Cmd+Shift+Delete on Mac) and try again. If you see a blank screen after login, disable browser extensions (ad blockers, VPNs) and refresh the page.
Data permissions and account security
When you install our kotakwin app, it requests permission to access your device's camera (for ID photo uploads during KYC), microphone (for live-chat support), storage (for caching account data), and location (to confirm you are in a supported jurisdiction). All data transmitted to kotakwin servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3, and your password is hashed with industry-standard algorithms. We never store your full payment card details; deposits are processed through secure payment gateways (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or bank APIs).
